I wish for you this holiday season…
A recipe that takes over your kitchen at least once a week
A closet clean-out (and donate everything else)
…and all the love your heart can muster.
However and wherever you celebrate, may joy be yours.

I have been a silent fan and follower. Thank you for all your tales of life.
Maybe I will get to meet you when I read that you will be speaking at a nearby Temple in February. A Happy Holiday.
I look forward to meeting you—thanks!
I love your list. I kept 2014’s and went back to it often. I’ll do the same with this. Thank you for such a special blog.

Just wandered over here while I’m in the midst of reading Poor Man’s Feast. It was just one of a confluence of events as we moved to an apartment from a house, picked up once again on my baking, and attempting to work at my writing and photography. Your book seemed to have landed right in the middle of it with a wondrous narrative of food and storytelling. Your mention of Chanterelle when it was back on Grand and Greene Streets cemented it for me – my first “high-end” French meal delivered with incredible precision and without any pretension. Very much like your book! Love your writing and your recipes – hope to dig in further! 🙂

Thanks Jeff–
Love this! And so glad you make that recipe so frequently. Hope your new year is going peacefully thus far. xox
